Kibbey's newest touring project, Leyenda, celebrates the folkloric sounds and history that add up to today's Nuevo Latino musical life in NYC. Bridget Kibbey on harp, Latin-Grammy winning percussionist Samuel Torres on percussion, and Louis Arques on clarinet.

Cumbia is a well-beloved dance form in Colombia; yet its origin story is complex – with influences from American Indian and African cultures. It's evolution is seen from the folkloric to the popular and celebrated on stages from Shakira to Nuevo Latin Fusion.
